Hard luck boys
Our super boys Rackard League team were so very unfortunate last Thursday as they were defeated by Fethard in the final. To the players, we cannot thank you enough for providing us with a super performance. We had massive support from the community and the school. The buzz around our school over the past number of weeks has been electric. It was said by so many that football was the winner on the night, and maybe so.
Done it again!!
Our boys have 'done it again'!! Another amazing win under our belts! The odds seemed to be against us, as we took on Kilrush in the semi final. After a very tough and sporting game, we came out on top and beat them by 7 points. We are now in the County Final this Thursday 10th October at 7.45pm in St Patricks Park Enniscorthy, where we will take on the mighty Fethard! We are hoping that the whole school community will come along and get behind our boys in this historic event. Get out the hats, flags, scarves and headbands and make your way to Enniscorthy on Thursday!!! We wish the boys the very best of luck. We are very proud of all of you!! Below is a nice picture of the full panel, along with teachers David Day and Anne-Marie Cullen, and mentors Trevor Rankin and Walter Rossiter (in hiding!!)
Thank you Mr David Codd for the stunning photographs.
