Our Location and Facilities
Scoil Mhuire, situated in Broadway village, is the parish school of Our Lady’s Island/Tacumshane, Co. Wexford. The school has a splendid view of Our Lady’s Island Lake with the Atlantic Ocean meeting St. George’s Channel in the background. Built in 1980, it is the most south-easterly school in Ireland. Our school crest shows the windmill in Tacumshane and the castle in Our Lady’s Island. |
There is ample space for children to play and explore, with a large pitch, tarmac playground, vegetable plot, picnic tables, a hurling wall and a basketball court. We encourage all students to be active at break times and to exercise fairness in games. |
