A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Commorative Flag Raising Ceremony on Tuesday, 15th March.
It was a great occasion and a wonderful opportunity for all generations to come, to remember, reminisce and of course enjoy a cuppa!
Thanks a million, as ever, to our industrious Parents' Association. We'd be lost without them!
A big thank you too to David Codd for taking such wonderful photos!

Ms. Donnellan's 5th and 6th classes participated in a mock election on Friday, 26th February. Classes were split into parties and devised their own manifestos, posters, stickers and leaflets. Parties campaigned in the lead-up to the election and canvassed for votes. The passion and competitiveness was evident in all students and the school became a microcosm of the events that were happening all around the nation.
On election day (Friday, 26th) all students and staff were invited to the polling station (set up in the school hall) to cast their votes. No detail was missed as the presiding officers monitored the poll clerks and the voters who came to cast their vote in privacy. Votes were counted by teachers and the winners announced.
It was a fantastic, fun and informative activity for all involved. A big thank you to Ms Donnellan who oversaw and managed the event.
